The Company currently have a vacancy for a Workboat Coxswain on its ERRV/MRV based in BIOT (crew change Male, Maldives).

Start Date 23/02/2026. Permanent position. 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off rotation.

Candidates must hold either Master (<200GT) CoC or RYA Yachtmaster Offshore / Ocean (Commercially Endorsed) certification.

Workboat Coxswain is responsible for the following:

• Taking charge and command of Workboat and its crew upon launch, subject to Masters orders.

• Ensuring the safety of passengers on board the Workboat

• General upkeep and local repairs of Workboat

• Reporting all Workboat defects to the Chief Engineer and Master, and liaising with both regarding general upkeep of craft.

• General on deck duties, as directed by the Chief Officer.

• Form part of the vessel fire fighting team.

• Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
