Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Mechanic to be based at our workshop, Blaikies Quay Aberdeen.

We are currently looking for a Mechanic to be based at our workshop, Blaikies Quay Aberdeen.

Reporting to the Vessel Support Manager you will service and repair our fleet of outboard and inboard diesel, and petrol Fast Rescue Crafts.

Key Work Areas:

  • Service outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
  • Repair outboard and inboard diesel and petrol Fast Rescue Craft
  • Carry out inflatable & fibre glass repairs to rescue boats when required
  • Deliveries to and collections of items from our fleet of vessels in Aberdeen Harbour
  • General duties in our Rescue Boat workshop and on board our vessels while in port
  • Any other reasonable task requested by your line manager, senior manager or director

Qualifications/Trainings:

  • Time served Mechanic
  • Full driving licence
  • Computer literate to a basic standard
